The Malaga Festival had its first edition in 1998 and in each of its subsequent installments it has achieved many objectives, among them, favoring the dissemination and promotion of Spanish cinema, becoming a national and international benchmark in the field of the cinematographic manifestations and favor the development of Málagam, showing it for what it is: an open and cultural city.
The Malaga Festival, which this year celebrates its twenty-third Edition, presents the best documentaries, short films and more, of Spanish cinema. In addition, it pays tribute to different personalities in the film industry and organizes numerous cycles, exhibitions and parallel activities.
The Malaga Festival wants to reach all audiences and promote the broad panorama of cinema here. Because we feel it, we live it and we want to enjoy it to the fullest.
